Clay and Play

Our session will have a focus on clay as we extract it from our clay pit onsite:

Extract, model and shape you piece then place over the campfire flames to fire them.

We’ll be painting with ‘slip’ the more liquid clay which is a beautiful sensory experience.

Have a go at creating an ‘English Cob’ as we mix clay and hay to create a construction material.

There will also be opportunities to explore Nature’s Nest - hammocks, tree swings, cosy book area, bug hunting, mud kitchen and more.

The session is aimed at all ages and abilities, babes in arms do not require a sibling ticket when attending with an older sibling with a full ticket.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and season, wear closed toe shoes, old clothes/clothes you don’t mind getting stained, bring a small towel to clean hands and feet!
